Going anywhere nice? Leaving the house on Christmas Day is a foreign concept to me.

I'm leaving this house to go and spend xmas with my Mums side of the family at my Aunties house, oh and I have to drop in a see my Nan (dads side) first.

Really? I rarely see my extended family so when I do it's a chore. I barely know them.

My family doesn't extend far really, Mum, Stepdad, Nan, Grandad, Aunt and Cousin.

Not seeing any of my old mans side other than my Nan and she lives about 2 mins down the road from my Aunt so its all good.

They're only late 60's, they haven't got to the 'HATE THE WORLD' stage yet, thank fuck.

I don't mean this in a mean way, but they don't really deserve to be visited. They fucked off to Norfolk from around here and they're so damn boring.

I mean, they own their own house, but they've moved to a place where load of other sad fuckers have gone to wait for death, so they may as well be living in a retirement home, really.

My Dad said that the arrangement of the houses where they live is like it was in the RAF, so maybe it's nostalgia because my Grandad was in the RAF for years.
