| You can only nominate if you have read the book(s)
Choose from best or worst
Best:
1. Sahara 2. The Prestige 3. Fight Club 4. Harry potter and the Goblet of fire (stfu!) 5. Briget Jones the edge of reason

| Are you a Christian, Parrotface?
I can't nominate because I've seldom read a book past the age of eleven, though I'm alert to the fact you've chosen populist US/UK films.

| I don't read many of the books of film adaptations, so I'm using three slots for Lord of the Rings.
1. Fellowship of the Ring 2. Two Towers 3. Return of the King 4. Blade Runner (a film adaptaion which completely undermines the restrictions placed on this thread because they're nothing alike) 5. The Road (well it's gonna have Viggo in, so it's gotta be good)

| Why do you ask?
I was Christened, but i'm not religious.
I was going to say Othello, but didn't think anyone would have seen it. The one with Kenneth Brannagh(sp?) as Iago. To be honest, I can't remember which films i've seen were based on books i've read so I picked the best ones I can remember.

| The cross necklace. My favourite film's an adaptation of a novel, but I'm not going to say what it is. | |

| I connected with it spiritually. If I mention it, other people would make comments on it and diminish that exclusivity. | |

| I thought it was based on 1984 and Farenheit 451. It kind of mixes them both together. | |

| I've not read Farenheit 451, but it steals so liberally from 1984 I just assumed it didn't need any others. | |

| Its pretty similar to 1984. Same characters and premises. Same events really, but replace big brother with the secret police. Farenheit451 | |

| I like the said film as well, though I haven't read the book. The opening titles are nice. | |

| Don't forget Adaptation, which is a made up retelling of Charlie Kauffman's adaptation of a real novel called The Orchid Thief.
Y'know...just to rub it in.
