Thanking you, but I don't think I should be trusted with a a wirey one again, I think they're beyond my abilities to look after.

You got a linky for the wireless ones? I'm being lazy.

Hard to tell, the only bit showing is all flared like 80s hair. There's copper, red, and a few white bits, so three or four, maybe.

Strip some of the outer sheath back with a knife on both ends of the broken cable, then strip some the inner cores insulation back too.

Match the colours and twist the copper cores together and it might work again.

Ha! Upon closer inspection it seems a portion of the protective front cover on the sensor bar itself has also managed to be ripped off and sucked away. My vaccum must be a Sony fanboy.

my vacuum wouldn't even tickle that sensor bar. it struggles with dust.
