My washing machine keeps rejecting those plastic paddles that bash the clothes inside the drum. Still under warranty though so it's Comet's loss.

It is. It's blowing around in the sunshine. It's probably dry by now but I'm leaving it a bit. Black clouds around though so I can't risk it getting wet again.
Mine is out of guarantee. They come out with free parts but you have to pay for labour so I'm leaving it for a bit.

Sky looks ok to the south-west from here so I reckon you're safe for a bit yet. I try to avoid labour charges wherever possible as I don't think they represent value for money.

It could cost me more than a new washer. It was never right anyway. It used to spin for ages. It must have cost me a fortune in electric. Then it started blowing fuses. I should have had somebody out when it was under guarantee.
