I think my iPod is going wrong...

Obv you can slightly feel the hard drive spinning sometimes when it's loading a song etc... but recently it's been making a slight grinding noise and you can feel it clicking. Bought it last December.

Anyone know if this is covered on any sort of warranty? Or know wut's going wrong?

mine does that on occasion, but not for prolonged periods. should be still covered by the standard 1 year manufacturers warranty, though, if it is borked.

this is bs... It's got little drop down menus so you can tell apple the problem and they fix it for you, but the cunting website has NOTHING to do with this problem. Spankage

It has no phone number for support etc, otherwise I'd call them and tell them what a bunch of wankers they are instead of trying to do it online.

the apple site usually just recommends you reset it and if that doesnt work, restore it, but if its making odd noises it sounds more like a hardware problem and i doubt thatd work.

My iPod has served me well, and luckily it's still within the warranty until 20th Dec apparently. They are little fuckers, though, agreed.

They said that if I send it off to be fixed they'll just send me a diff iPod, but not always a new one.. which is piss annoying, I'll probably recieve one which has been refurbished and scratched to shit.

Perhaps I should just wait a couple more months until it totally dies on me.
