I'm just saying that you don't get people to listen by signing a petition or marching around under police guard singing little songs.

I think protests can be a good thing because they show how the people feel about an issue.

General Pinochet thought that everybody liked him in Chile because nobody was allowed to protest or speak so he didn't realise how unpopular he was.
