tell you what, why don't we keep the the cakes and hugs as sort of a backup plan for really serious situations where violence has failed?

They're special war-mongering flowers. They morph into 20 foot tall killer tulips when enemy troops approach. Additionally, the poppy seeds serve to drive opposition combatants into a forced slumber, somewhat like the effects faced by a heroin junkie.

I've not just got the first available war-base here, y'know. i've thought this through.
