I'm not sure about remixes. They give me a bit of a headache.

Some of them remind me of lift music.

Remixes are fine for bands with a bit of a dance groove to them, which the Roses had. Got a three disc Depeche Mode remixes boxset at home too

Orbital - Illuminate

I'm not keen on a few of them. Mainly the Fools Gold ones, it's not that I dislike them, I just think who ever is remixing is not putting a right lot of effort into doing it. The Resurrection one was a bit disappointing as well, they could have done a lot better.

I have that DM one, Barrel of a Gun remix FTW.

I don't know if I heard Depeche Mode Remixes .. maybe they were the Remastered ones.

NIN - Head Like A Hole

I used to have a seventeen minute long remix of Fool's Gold on my old PC. Fuck knows where it came from, lost it when it went down, but that was interesting. Wouldn't say it made it better, the opposite - it dragged a little, but still. A nice thing to have on when getting ready.

The DM Remixes were generally B-sides for the singles, but in '04 ish, they released a two and three disc collection of them. Know the earlier albums have been repackage with bonus tracks, so there may be more on there though.

The Resurrection one was alright. I've just watched a really long French film (in french) so that may have influenced me. My brain may have been dulled.

I only wanted to see the sights of Paris. It didn't matter much about the language but some of it was too sad. I wanted it to be more lighthearted. I wanted to know where the older woman was stood at the end of the film for the view but I couldn't make it out. Scarlet Rope would probably know. I might start a question thread.
