I taped it from Virgin Concerts. The picture is distorted but the sound is still OK.
It's their Reunion Concert.

It's not torrential here. I'm not worried about the garage as yet.
Our host for the Paris trip is happy for us to stay so that's the accommodation sorted out.
I may paint her a small rock. She has a balcony.

That's a kind gesture - both ways - how many of you are going ? Think I'd rather be in Paris than Berlin. It sounds closer to home.
Mrs F. is on weatherwatch I think.

Just two of us. She's been busy and hasn't replied so I was getting used to the idea of a hotel. I don't know her but she is looking forward to meeting me I'm told. She is a friend of a friend. We can go to a French Supermarket and stock her up with food. I want some French jars.
Muse - Undisclosed Desires
I taped Jools Holland straight after it. Freddie Freeloader by the So What Band was on but I didn't want to put that down. I waited for Muse. She wants us to stay. I want to tape the Cribs with Johnny Marrs.

It's really raining hard now. I sense garage trouble.

I looked on the Paris webcam and it's raining there as well. I was looking forward to dumping our bags in a hotel and walking around the Seine. We may have to talk a bit first now ... then dash off for a walk along the Seine. I do want to see her who she is though. I have heard a lot about her. I think she is out a lot.

All hands to the pumps then...good luck. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it passes by quickly.

Large French supermarkets are fun, specially the livestock section. I've been known to spend a good hour choosing a cheese

I love local supermarkets. Whenever somebody moves I have to inspect the local supermarket. I went into Sainsbury's at Leeds on Saturday. I don't like the 'do your own checkout' thing but it does save queueing.
I think she is in the Montemarte area. I don't think we get there until 7 so it might be nearly dark. We could always go to the Seine first. I will start planning soon when I know our exact location. There seems to be more older history in Paris. It seems more flamboyant than Berlin. Berlin is supposed to be popular with artists though now but it doesn't have the same art history. I'm glad Jodie stayed there for a few months because she knows where everything is. She says I don't even need a tourist map.

Rivers of water running down the street. It hasn't rained for a while though so the garage won't be saturated yet.

At least you're on high ground so you won't get rising water as well. The drains will be dry and full of leaves.
It's good to be with someone who knows a bit about the area. My host Sara lives here now so she knows all the ins and outs. Very resourceful, the Dutch.
