Ghost Town. ever so slightly duff rom-com but with a few giggles. wouldn't recommend paying for it but there are worse ways to spend an hour and a half for free.

i think it was heartbreaking enough up to that point as it was. besides, it would've involved reanimating a huge section and that obviously takes a while.

Actually, no, I'm getting it all wrong. Where I think they jumped shark was having Wall-E magically revert from his resetted default settings back to the eccentric nutter that had taken centuries to form.
