Serj Tankian is number 4 on Kerrang most requested.
I don't know which song it is because I turned on at number 2. I think it must start at 7 o ' clock. You Me At Six at number one. Stone Sour at number 2. I'll watch today and see what it is.
You Me At Six - Stay With Me
The Band of Skulls video could be even worse than Kings of Leon. Too much after the Gaga meat outfit. Lady Gag. That's a good few vegetarian fans she lost. I could only stand 5 minutes of it ... I had to turn off when anorexic Justin Beiber started miming. I turned over to sanity ... Lostprophets at Camden. If it had been leather nobody would have commented but its the bacteria. Wearing salmonella can't be a good idea. She got the headlines though again so mission accomplished. Celebrity vegans still love her. She could kill an animal in front of them and they would still love her. Celebrity override button. The red colour did look good though. I must say.

The best thing about the Kings Of Leon song is that it starts like Cannonball by the Breeders. I keep thinking that song is coming on. I look up and then I look down. MTV has it has their number one song. Maybe it hits all the politically correct buttons. What's in the water? Limestone in our water.
The Serj Tankian song was ...

Now at number 7 most requested on Kerrang.

I'm loving the whole Tankian album at the moment, he's quite possibly my favourite vocalist ever. Him and the lass out of the Ting Tings
Haven't liked a K.O.L. song since their debut album I'm afraid. They're just too clean now.
Off to Ikea for a rummage round now, need some storage containers. And meatballs.

Maybe they are trying to be Gospel. It's still dire.

When you go in the National Gallery there's another oil on wood sketch by Rubens. I think it's Room 26. It's Jesus on the Cross painted in the same style as the one in Tate Britain.
If you go to the main room where Charles I is on his horse and then go to the room on the left it's on the right hand side wall at an angle. It's lovely. Really lightly painted.

I watched the rest of it this afternoon. It was good in parts.
Florence & The Machine - Dog Days Are Over
She was nervous but she did well. Hayley Williams was more relaxed. She enjoyed it.
I don't think Lady Gaga sang anything. If she did I missed it. Maybe one line at the end when she got her meat dress award.
I don't know why they had the Asian man laughing at Taylor Swift at the end. That's another flame added to the Mosque Fire. That was the only part he had ... to laugh at Taylor Swift. I think he was there to deflect attention from Kanye West. He came on at the end as the 'star attraction'. It's hilarious to grab someone else's award he was saying. It's on at 9 again tonight. It could be an historic laugh. Maybe they thought Asian was safer than white or black. Under the circumstances it's highly doubtful. It could have been planned months ago but it was still suspicious. It was nasty anyway under any circumstances. Why would somebody even agree to do that? Maybe he is supposed to be funny in America.
I don't think even Justin Timberlake could have saved it but he still got the biggest cheer of the night for the few seconds he was on.
Even the Taylor Swift song was weird. Maybe it was all supposed to be some kind of running joke. It didn't come off. Unfunny humour. That's what I thought anyway. The funniest bit was the Jackass people with the flour. It was a part from their new film.
My painting is going up tomorrow. The glue will be dry. The great unveiling.
I haven't been to Ikea for years. Somebody did push a brochure through the door though. I haven't looked through it yet.
Vessla box or Trofast? It just opened up on that page. Or maybe you went for the NEW Barnslig Ringdans. My house is nothing like Ikea but I did buy some kitchen scissors for a £1 once. I like those banana fibre, palm leaf style storage containers on page 261. I would buy those. In fact I have some similar to those but smaller. It all depends what you want them for and if they are on show or not.
Windy today.

I'll have to buy some brass hooks to fix it up there. It's too heavy just to rest on nails. It needs to be stretched out a bit.
Kings of Leon aren't number one they are a 'future hit'. I can't stand that video because it reminds me of 'Wills and Harry visit Africa'. It doesn't even match the song. No water in it whatsoever. Brandon Flowers is number one.
They should have gone up to Malham Tarn for that video, Sgt Fury. Where the water comes from.

I haven't been to Malham Tarn since I was about 8. I can remember it really clearly though. I can remember the stone walls and how clear and sparkling the water was. I may have been once since but I still remember the first time more.
I want to see what view Vincent Van Gogh and Theo had from their apartment in Montmartre. I've finished all Vincent's letters and I'm now on to Theos. He has just described their view.
The tops of the trees are turning browner here. A few trees are already bright red. I could take a different picture every 10 minutes. I just don't like to delete any from my camera. I couldn't upload them anyway. I'll be able to hear the geese when they start taking off. (Unless they've already gone).
There was too much commotion in the street to put my painting up. They are messing with the road and the Jamaicans have put a new gutter up. It will be quiet tonight though because they all have to put their cars somewhere else for 24 hours or have their tyres mucked up. It's really quiet now. The path does look nice. I've been varnishing instead so the garage floor is in use. I'll have to pick just the right day to assemble it. I've got all the parts now.

A big Labour man lives at the bottom of the street. Maybe that has something to do with it.
Me and Jodie call him the real MP.
Theo Paris 10 July 1887
"As you may know I am now living with my brother Vincent. who is studying the art of painting with indefatigable zeal. As he requires rather a lot of space for his work, we are now living in a rather big apartment in Montmartre, which is, as you know, a suburb of Paris, built on the slope of a hill. The remarkable thing about our dwelling is that one has a magnificent view of the whole town from its windows, with the hills of Meuden, St Cloud and so on the horizon, and over it an expanse of sky nearly as large as when one is standing on the top of a dune."
Ryan Adams - English Girls Approximately
I think Mr Cooper Balls will have a chance of winning the leadership because he wouldn't change his principles to get into power. He said he had to consult the membership. I don't think he was an MP around the time of the Gulf War either. Yvette won't like playing second fiddle. Making tea etc. .. handing out cakes ... smiling at guests ... standing sweetly by his side.
