| Maybe I should give the first one a proper listen, then - from what I've been told about the album it sounds like a bit of an alternative classic. | |

| A bit? A bit?
It pisses on the entire Nirvana collection. Not that I'm overselling it.

i still don't know what he actually screams there. Well, I didn't realise for ages what he shouted on Good Grief for years ("Hey Hare! Hey Hare! Hey Hare!"). Turns out it was "I hate it." The entire list of lyrics are up on the net and I'm still not convinced he sung half those lines properly.

| Yeah, back then Dave was a lot more cryptic with his lyrics too. You knew they were about certain people or stuff that's happened to him pre-Nirvana, but it wasn't really specific about anything. Same with The Colour and The Shape. I still don't know what the hell he's talking about on Enough Space
"I was waiting for something/maybe flying machines/that's when I found Mary the best I've ever seen/I put on the ceiling/Tried to make her my own/People lined up to see/but there never seems to be enough space"
WHAT?! Cracking tune though. Probably my 2nd/3rd fave song of theirs.
There Is Nothing Left To Lose was when he started to make stuff obvious and not really about himself. But those first two albums are weird lyric-wise.
