I saw some daft bint who lived on a quid a day every day for a year for a bet on telly this morning. I can imagine she would've been genuinely delighted to see such a sight.

On the subject of people who are pretty hard up, I saw a busker playing Tom Waits' 'Chocolate Jesus' last night, which excited me enough to actually give him money. 22p and a cent in fact, which I disdainfully threw at him like some guffawing top hat and tails twat, whilst shouting 'TOM WAITS RULES!' Unfortunately, this sparked a conversation with the busker in question about Tom Waits, and it turned out he was a nice bloke who wished me well whilst kneeling down to inspect my reward for him. I told him to have a good night too, and I'm sure he would've had. I mean, if another guy that was as generous as me had given him a similar amount of money, he'd probably have enough to buy a packet of crisps.

A RYT I didn't even think of that! I thought 99p shops rounded everything up to a £1 anyway, even though that's blatant false advertising. Maybe I got my rogue cent from a 99p shop!!! THEY GYPPED ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
