although i probably got worse abuse too. once, this one customer managed to call me a bitch, a slut and a cocksucker in about a nine word sentence.

no, that was the worst part! i said i wasn't serving her, and so did the other guy on bar, and then my manager came over and said 'look i know this is a bit out of order but we're so busy i can't deal with this, just serve her', which was in fact ILLEGAL as i'd asked her for ID and she didn't have any. then, twenty minutes later she bumped into my manager and called him an idiot so he kicked her out. and then i quit.

well i got barred cos i gave my notice and they gave me a twelve ur shift the day after my notice ran out. so i told them i wouldnt do it, they said i had to, so i didn't turn up and they barred me for two weeks. but to be fair, it was a twelve hour shift starting at midday on a friday which would have meant i was there alll day and then the busy part of friday night. so i think i'm fully within my rights!

I've been out to restaurants a couple of times where we've had to wait ages for the bill, so in the end we ended up leaving cash on the table and walking out. I only hope some twat didnt walk past and nick the money!
