| they certainly gave me a semi.
im not really sure this shit should be in the olympics, though. i mean, its the horses doing all the work. do the horses get medals? and what if youre the best rider in the whole world? if your horse is shit, youre still going to lose. they need some sort of standardized model of robotic horse.

| I suppose, but it's the way the rider handles the horse | |

| My mate Ed was having a moan about that Sunday morning. He reckoned any sport where the winner was dependent on either having the best animal, or the best technology, should automatically be declared null and void as it's not a fair reflection of the athlete's ability.
He soon shut up when I reminded him he was an F1 fan.
But robotic horses would be pretty good. Then opposition team engineers can creep up behind them and unscrew the kneecaps.

| Imagine if someone threw down a giant plastic bag and it floated about in the wind, every horse would have a nervous breakdown | |

| I'm always suprised the pikey countries don't do better at the Equestrian events. I'd image they'd be used to training horses, given they get 'em to pull their caravans around everywhere.
Is that why Darkus hasn't been about much?

| Horse 1 "HOLY SHIT, is that a...plastic bag floating about in the wind like some kind of insane creature?!" Horse 2 "Fuck me sideways with a shovel, time to freak out!" | |

| That's 'cause they're scared someone would nick it if they left it lying around. It's what they'd do, after all. | |

| The Romanians and Irish were medal expectants for the boxing, but were disqualified after insisting on fighting bare knuckled and under the influence. | |

| Romanians don't eat. They just drink. And drink. And drink.
I think for the London Olympics, all equestrian riders should be forced to ride a yak.

| Are giraffes native to Britain? Are they fuck. Don't be so stupid. It's yaks or a wooden horse's head on a pole. Nothing else.
I fought they boiled up horse bones and made it into a horse-vodka soup?

| Don't talk wet...giraffes carry diseases, like SARS and stuff. Plus it's not like the London Olympics isn't costing a fortune as it is.
Fucking hell, typo spotted by Hippo. I'm actually ashamed. Ignore it, you know what I meant. Maybe.

| No. they're just tall. I'm tall. It doesn't mean squat. Yaks are the definition of impression. Just look at those horns. YAK! Plus, giraffes would make the show-jumping and cross country boring, the jumps would be far too easy. Piloting a yak through that would actually be dangerous, and as such, far more impressive. | |
