i'm still genuinely amazed mine is still alive, after around 20 months.

Mine died exactly 1 year and a week after purchase. Though the lovely people at Microsoft did upgrade me to a 60GB hard drive. See? They're not 100% pure evil.

I wonder how much Microsoft have lost on all those faults. I'd be livid.
