This is an interesting twig.

I've never ever bought a bag of twiglets but I'm always drawn to them at a party even though they taste rank

A twig becomes a stick when it is at least 1cm thick.

So an ambitous twig would not be best pleased if it was 1mm from becoming a stick?? Marmite is the foulest substance on earth.

That would be a false stick then. Mud surgery does not count! Only Genuine sticks are allowed. A twig will always be a twig unless someone decides to cut it up into several small pieces and bury them under the patio.

Well that depends on whether you want to keep the patio

or whether you water the twigs.

I suppose I should burn the twig and then bury it under the patio? It's what it would have wanted

Yeah I can confirm that I had absolutely nothing to do with that. maybe an ancestor? I did as a kid that never to drop a match even inside an empty petrol can. Nearly took my face off :-(
