It really is like Hogwarts. I thought that but I thought it was far fetched. I'm taking a picture next time. I don't think I can upload it though. I have a great view from my window. It goes by about 12.15.

Or is that Radissons? Their logo is a Picasso design.
I think my painting is Jean Cocteau influenced. It came to me as I was looking at it last night. I'm leaving the outlines just as I originally made them. Jodie will agree. We will be having a look around the Banqueting Hall next time I visit.

It really is the actual train used in the Harry Potter films. I saw it at the Railway Museum in York. Helen wants to photograph it now.
Don't think I'll be in hotels this time. Apartment available. Our Radisson fun may be curtailed somewhat :-/

It did look genuine. It was a reddish mauve colour. Loads of black smoke coming out of it. Very atmospheric. It was like being in a time warp.
Kasabian - Me Plus One
Two for one still at the library so I just got Kasabian as well as HAARP. I didn't know what else to take.
I'm looking forward to seeing what she says about it. She is teacher training in September for Art and Design. See if she gives me an A.

I checked the colour of the train by watching Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. It was the same colour.
Ryan Adams came on straight after it ended. He was number one at that time. I taped it.

Swimming in the fish tank was the main topic of conversation in the bar on my first night in Berlin. I'll add it to my list.
Huddersfield this afternoon to see St Helens hopefully thump Leeds. My Lancashire roots have done me proud with a ticket and hospitality. Won't wear my Trinity shirt though.....

I'm drawing a Cezanne like scene from my back garden. I just had to move a few branches. Then one day I'm transferring it to some canvas. I don't know what it's called but there is a nice church on top of it. I don't think he had a better scene that this. Nice clouds as well.

Yes. I've been sorting out the angels wings. I finished my Cezanne. I'm doing another one today. I've already painted two in oil so it didn't take me long. I just make a rough drawing outside and then when I come to paint it I just look out of the garage window for any bits I missed. Great view.
I think Leeds like to be called Rhinos.
I'm keeping my body clock out of synch at least until the 11th and 12th of August. I want to watch the meteor shower and I will be able to get up and watch.

Some people at GLP are worried about hte Russian fires reaching Chernobyl. Others are saying it's too far away. Others are saying it will be burning up contaminated vegitation. I don't know if thats a good or bad thing.

The one I'm drawing today reminds me of the Mona Lisa. It might not make sense but it's got an imposing Yew tree in the middle and two completely different views at either side. It looks a bit spooky.
Jodie is bringing up up From Hell for me to read. I'm already reading Hawksmoor by Peter Ackroyd. It's in a kind of old fashioned english so it takes a bit of getting used to.
