Far cry instincts on xbox years ago was ace, so I may get it, I think it's gunna be star wars next though.

Far Cry was far superior on the PC to any other platform. The new one looks interesting though; but I bet it turns into mindless FPS.

The only FPS game I'm really looking forward to is Operation Flashpoint 2.

Played mirrors edge...requires more skill than I expected...only real downside is that what you're supposed to do/where your supposed to go can be a bit vague.

ive just had a go of it. interesting. its hard to tell if itll have the fluidity and momentum its aiming for at this point, but it seems like itd come with practice. i was expecting a bit more freedom as to which route you could take as, even with the runner vision off, it still felt as if i were being funneled into exactly the same places.

i dont really care for the aesthetics or character design. i know the red objects have to stand out, but would a few shades of other subdued colours really have caused problems? some of the night-time footage and less clean locations looked quite pretty, though.

one to get on the cheap maybe, i think.

I get the impression that it was probably designed to be linar at that point due to it being mostly training...I never expected massive amounts of freedom, but I reckon they'll be more.

yeah, that seemed like the priority with the demo. id imagine it helps keep getting chased by the cops exciting too. running away while being shot at reminded me of that bit at the beginning of half-life 2, which is good.

It didn't make me regret putting it on my christmas list, so I'm content.

For some stupid reason we got Alone in the dark and MGS4 demos this week......thanks for that.

Still, some free little big planet add ons....for when I get it.

Not yet.....britian lags behind japan and the US in terms of PSN demo updates....we get all the stuff you have to pay for first though....

Thursday had a shitty racing game called GTI something or other, a cheapo pirate game thing and a brief dead space demo.

Found out to my surprise a couple of days ago that a couple of my games have trophies, namely uncharted and GTA4....more excited than I should be.
